Sweet Annie came over to work with Veronica on a project of hers and we all had so much fun…including Somi!

A trip to Tiffany’s in Beverly Hills to add to Veronica’s charm bracelet.

Followed by a fabulous lunch at 208 Rodeo just next door!

Watermelon & Burrata Salad

Wagyu Beef Carpaccio

Then a little retail therapy at Neiman Marcus for me.

Back to work. This is a rather large piece, measuring 37″ x 26″.

A private class with Robyn where we studied Bamboo.

Curtis and Yi-Lin stopped by with the yummiest treats for lunch.

Afterwards, they looked at the beautiful photo book dear Carol had compiled for me as a remembrance of the amazing book signing she held for my latest book, “Inspired Thoughts on Love” at her exquisite estate.

Time for a double feature: “Heads of State,” dinner from Little Goat, and then John Wick’s “Ballerina”.

Bravo, Carol Soucek King, for this, the 29th year, for your Salon on the Spiritually Creative Life. Brilliant Alex Mosley’s Main Presentation, “Learning is the Notes, Understanding is the Music,” was so inspiring.

Patricia Ferber’s poem “Waves of Time” was a perfect addition.

Footprints upon the sand

The next wave washes them away.

Life’s continued pattern

wave after wave, time after time.

Somi is always there to help.

That evening we were again treated to dinner at El Portal by generous Carol.

The next day I had the most delightful lunch with dear Peggy and Valerie at Avra (just back from a cruise to Alaska), hosted by lovely Susan.

And another lunch the next day at Neiman Marcus. Yee gads!

Susan Avila from the Music Center and Jeri Gaile, Director of the Spotlight Awards program for the Music Center. Awesome Jeri is beyond dedicated to the young artists in the program. Bravo with thanks for coming to my neck of the woods and for lunch!

A magical evening at the Hollywood Bowl. Dinner, a concert, ballet dancers, and fireworks. WOW!

And some work…

It’s always so bittersweet remembering mom.

Thank you Jhonny for this amazing treasure!

It’s wonderful in the garden!

And of course my monthly dinner with brilliant Tom.

Thank you wonderful Danielle and Robert for such a wonderful day at the Huntington. First, lunch in the Jade Court.

Then a tour of the gifted Don Bacardy exhibit in the Boone Gallery. Don’t miss this show!!!

Robert you’re the best!

Thank you dear Danielle for a perfect day!

Thank you, awesome Gabrielle, for inviting me to the Women’s Social Hour hosted by J.P. Morgan at the new private social club, San Vicente Santa Monica Club. Photo snapped in the elevator (like a Photo Booth).

Can you imagine…they put a sticker over your phones camera! (I took it off.)

Here’s host Gabrielle.

These Labubus were on one of the women’s bags.

Dinner after at Sirena in The Georgian Hotel (next door).

As always, Brush painting class in the studio was delightful. We studied the Rose.

And smoothie time with Lizzie Girl at Bloomies!

With Labubus right next to us!

I’m so sad to report that we’ve lost Sweet Dolly, dear Lambert’s sister.

July ended wonderfully, celebrating awesome Nino’s birthday at the Jonathan Beach Club hosted by our lovely Carol Soucek King!

Happiest of birthdays, dear Nino!

Brilliant architect Miller Yee Fong with his impromptu sketch of Nino!
