What a treat to be at the Huntington Botanical Gardens for Camerata Pacifica’s Baroque night!

Meet Emi Ferguson, the new Music Director of Baroque Music and master of the Baroque Flute!

Awesome Katie Hyun, Baroque Violinist. So adorable and what a gift!

I told Makael Darmanie, Keyboards master, that I suspected he was a jazz aficionado!!

And as for Coleman Itzkoff on the Baroque Cello, I said he was ‘having too much fun’!

Thank you brilliant Adrian Spence, Founder and Artistic Director of Camerata Pacifica for another inspiring evening!

It’s always a joy to share these concerts with dear Maryam and Kert! Here we are with Executive Director Ana Papakhian.

Time for dinner with incomparable Tom Backer, PhD.

Wonderful meeting delightful Susan Avila, the Music Center’s new Senior VP of Advancement!

The event was at Abernethy’s on the Jerry Moss Plaza at the Music Center where there were drinks and yummy nibbles!

An amazing event sponsored by Child Care Resource Center.

Awesome Tom Backer, Ph.D., brilliantly moderated the panel discussing artist Will Rochfort’s First Night painting depicting Peter Pan’s opening night in 1904. Brady Schwind of AOIF sponsored this endeavor.

On the right, Jamie Olives, ELC Program Supervisor at Child Development Institute, where the event was held.

This was the most creative way to give guests nibbles to sustain life. Inside was the most delicious round of Brie, salami, two crackers, and many almonds with a strawberry and grapes to top it off!

Thank you friend Tom for alerting us to this fine event!

It doesn’t seem possible that our dear Kevin Casey is no longer with us. This erudite and most charming of men who was just in my home for Veronica’s birthday Gelato party and who won the prize for best karaoke performance…

How could he no longer be here? Our little group joined so many of Kevin’s friends and family to share precious memories at El Cholo on Western in L.A.

When you first came in, there was a table where one could choose a bow tie as a remembrance of our dashing bon vivant Kevin!

Dear Carol and Marguerite make their selections.

Curtis and Yi-Lin were the very best friends Kevin could ever have!

In my blog on the Gelato party, there’s a photo of Kevin’s and one of his nephews was wearing them!

Sweet Jan and Patricia!

The brush painting class was wonderful….we learned so much, especially when concentrating on different leaves. Here’s adorable Alex and daughter Lilianna.

Right after class, it was off to ‘Fab❤️u❤️lous’ for Incomparable Brenda Cooper’s brilliant exhibit at the Drescher Hall in Santa Monica College.

What a surprise seeing Beverly Pomerantz from David Bender’s ‘Storytelling’ group! Her little fluffer is soooo adorable!

I am beyond proud of Brenda….besides being an Emmy Award Winner for costume designing ‘The Nanny,’ Brenda’s book ‘The Silhouette Solution‘ is absolutely the very best book on working with one’s wardrobe to always look ‘Fabulous’!!! Brenda was surrounded signing her book.

Here’s a sample of Brenda’s ‘Fabulous’ illustrations!

And the fashionistas were in full force!

Awwwww………..

The next day Sandie Girl’s son Tim married the love of his life, Melissa.

October ended with a fun time at Fair Oaks Pharmacy celebrating Halloween.

Thanks to Sweet Patricia Ferber here with Awesome Carol Soucek King.

Wonderful seeing Evelyn Plemons in from Hearst Castle with Brilliant Nino Wong!

Sweet Patricia had the tables set all ready for the hot fudge sundaes, root beer floats, and chocolate malts!

Sooooo cute!

The Pharmacy has the best old-fashioned candies, perfect for Halloween, so I was delighted when adorable Emilia and David came by. So was Kita!

Kita the Akita wishes you a delightful November filled with fun, frivolity and yummy food!
