Los Angeles Master Chorale’s performance in Walt Disney Concert Hall of ‘Spem In Alium’ was thrilling and inspiring.

Watching Jenny Wong, the Associate Artistic Director, conduct the Chorale was mesmerizing!

You can hear her on Facebook speaking of the commissioned piece by Carlos Simon, ‘Affirmations’ in which she quoted in part,

“I love and approve of myself.

I am at peace with myself.

I welcome the experience of joy and I release any hatred that I am holding.”

Concluding with the dramatic final words of the piece…”I Am Free!”

Soprano Sunni Shin was magnificent singing ‘Amazing Grace’ and one walked away uplifted and inspired!

Awesome Steve Benson’s daughter Taylor is in Post Production and it was great fun having a bit of time with her. She’s also involved in some puppy rescue and I got some tips for life with Somi the Goldendoodle!

No time for my cocoa but I did take the cookies home!
