Another great movie night with Curtis and Yi-Lin. We watched “Roman J. Israel, Esq.” I found it quite sad and affecting.

I’m really enjoying the little patio this year. Veronica assembled this Baker’s Rack and there’s room for all the blooming plants.

I wasn’t up to going to Aroma Cafe for the monthly dinner with Tom so he graciously came over and I whipped something up to sustain life!

Precious Lizzie Girl is so dear. She sent me a “Spoonful of Love” so I’d get better.

There was a lovely evening at Disney Hall celebrating Steve Benson, retiring President and CEO of the Music Center Foundation, and welcoming new President, Justin Marsh. Steve will definitely be missed.

Lorri, Steve’s accomplished wife…author, writer, two-time Emmy award-winning producer of the Donahue show and family advocate/speaker.

Dinner was onstage at Disney Hall where we were serenaded by each one of the Music Center’s departments.

June’s main presentation on “Harmony”, was by Edward R. Bosley, architectural historian, director of the Gamble House and sociologist Denise Maior-Barron, “Planting Harmony in Changing Times for House Museums”.

Dear Carol always celebrates her “Salon Stars” with dinner at El Portal. I was unable to attend so kind Yi-Lin sent me this photo of the group.

Lovely Susi, back from a month in Palau, gave me a belated birthday lunch at our favorite place…Avra in Beverly Hills.

We had a delightful dinner with the incomparable Tania Norris, creator of Disney’s famous “Purple Wallpaper” and personal designer for Walt Disney.
