I don’t know if this is any way to begin September’s blog especially as Somi says she’s completely innocent and has no idea why she’s become so ‘popular’!

On to dinner with brilliant Tom Backer who is always a font of knowledge on just about everything.

Somi is always excited to see any of the floor guys.

Checking things out.

Cousin Ronald was in town from Memphis as he’s a producer for this Indie film.

It was time for “The Salon on the Spiritually Creative Life” and our dear Carol is always so kind and thoughtful to mention my books each month.

For September the theme was Harmony and the Main Presenter was extraordinary artist and educator Ruth Weisberg whose theme was “Searching for Harmony” stating “While harmony is the overarching goal, there is energy and thought-provoking dialogue in the tensions and spirited discourse in the arts.”

The film of Ruth’s work, which gallerist Jack Rutberg discussed, was brilliant.

That evening it was a joy to celebrate Wondrous Carol’s birthday at El Portal. Let’s hear it for the cake!

Time to sing Happy Birthday!

It was impossible to get a group shot…

mmmmm

mmm

I’m always so happy to see brilliant Jan!

ADonna Stein, art historian and author of “The Empress and I” was celebrating Carol with her brilliant husband, writer Henry James Korn. (I just ordered one of his books.)

Fashionista and Head Docent at the Huntington’s Chinese Garden, Nino Wong.

Curtis always brings the party!

There was an Exhibition Preview of “PST ART: Art and Science Collide” at The Huntington.

Lovely Carol and a friend we met at Tania’s birthday celebration.

All together now…

Time to dash off to the Music Center for “Duel Reality”…just made it!

Checking in…

Nicole you are just too cute!

This was truly a thrilling death-defying unbelievable acrobatic show with such life-affirming theatricality that everyone left the performance with a huge smile on their faces!

Center Dance Arts hosted a “Preview Brunch” at the Jonathan Club.

Rob is the best!

I was thrilled beyond description to meet generous philanthropist Glorya Kaufman and have some time to chat with her.

Sweet Diane with Rachel Moore, President & CEO of The Music Center.

Too much fun with Bethany and Terri!!!

The opening performance, Season 24/25, “The Lillian Lovelace Season” for Camerata Pacifica was inspiring!

There’s more exciting things to come in September but I’ll close with this adorable fluffer wishing you days filled with delights!
